Pirate Princess

I took these photo's in May for a contest at the local scrapbook store. But wanted to do these again in digital. Our daughter was not interested in helping me until I said she could wear some of Mommies makeup and one of my skirts with her brothers costume. My Traditional page is cute too! This is such a fun kit and I've used it over and over especially for Halloween.

Kit is from Studio Flergs - Evilicious, and the Font is Elegant

My husband to the kid's to one of their favorite play places and they all had a blast. They sure do love their Daddy. And he actually got three pictures for me to scrap. Yeah, what a man.

Kit used for this layout. Flergs - Grunge - 6k74; Love this grungy kit. Check out Megs other cool stuff here .

Chance of Rain

We had a Garage Sale and the weather was cold and rainy. That didn't stop our two from having a good time with their umbrella's. They love it when it rains.

I used Chaos Lounges - Rainy Day Blues for this page. Font used was Daniel. Click on link to check out Jen's cool stuff .

Slumber Party

The kid's love to have sleep overs. We make a tent our of our son's bunk bed and they have a blast. We usually do this when we have house guests but the kid's don't mind at all.

This kit is by AWP - Primary Grunge -by Vicki, also an Add-on - Primary Grunge - by Sweet Blossom Desings. Font used was Elegant. I changed the colors in the word June to match the design at the top of the page. You can check out all Vicki's great work at AWP - A Work in Progress over on my favorite designers.

Merry Christmas

I don't know about the rest of you but I have been very busy getting ready for Christmas. I have been a sewing machine the last two weeks. Making baby doll clothes and barbie clothes. There just aren't any nice things to buy. I am fed up with Mattel not making appropriate clothing items for their dolls. I am thinking of writing a letter along with not purchasing any more of their products. I remember Barbie being wholesome, a Prom Queen, Debutant, Career Woman and now she looks like ... I can't say. If I wanted my daughter to play with that kind of doll I would buy her one of those Brat Dolls. So I have been sewing Ball gowns and Princess dresses and will be expanding that to include her horses. Hee! Hee! Sorry nothing new in the way of scrap pages. Our printer/scanner is kaput and our digital camera crashed as well. I'm just glad it's not car repairs. Knock on wood. Well I hope to have a couple of new pages done later this week. I am doing a tribute to my Dad!

I hope everyone has a Merry Christmas and those who are of other Religious Faiths will enjoy their own celebrations as well. Remember live in the moment...

Was looking through my files of photo's, trying to find some more snow pictures and found this one of this delicious six layer; pudding and frosting layers, with whip cream frosting and almonds and berries on top. It was absolutly fantastic. We had it in the afternoon with tea and coffee.

The kit is from the Shabby Princess - Sara Carling - Dinner Party, Cake & Platter - Artgal Style, Font is Lucida Calligraphy. Click link below to check out the kit and freebie site, it's wonderful.

The Big Snow

Just finished this one and Love it. This is an old photo of my son in his snow suit. We had a really bad snow when he was a year and a half and this was one of the first days that we could get out. The sidewalks and most of the streets were still uncleared. He had a wonderful time. I probably had him dressed to warm but he lived. Ha!

This is a great kit by Magic World called Winter Frost, the Font is Crystal and Elegant. Click on the link to check out this fun site,

Merry Christmas

Love these photo's of our daughter in her Santa Hat. I laid her on our bed with a white sheet that I hung from the ceiling. I wish I had done this with my son but I didn't. Working a night job at the time and just couldn't manage. This is such a great kit at Water LO Projects. Click link to check out all there beautiful work.

This layout deserved the two pages to stick together so I had a bit of a challenge connecting them. The kids love to play Polar Express on the train down town. This time my son made tickets in advance and then he punched them with my hole punch. He drew on them and put stickers; very cute.

Background paper is from the Shabby Pickle - Holly Designs - Juicy Fruit, Stripe is from M. Underwood - Family Fun, Paper Clip & Laces are DSO - Melc - Blog Train Scrap Journal, Checkered Boarder - Just Scrap me Silly - P.S. I Love You, Stitching - abcdelf fraicheurestivale, Chip Board Alpha's are unknown, Font used was Distressed.
